 Do you know what to do for a Dachshund that has hurt his back, is having trouble walking, or has become paralyzed in the back? The first thing that you need to do is to get them into a crate, x-pen, a laundry basket or even a childs playpen something that will restrict their movements. The second thing that you need to do is call your Vet right away. The longer you wait to seek medical treatment, the harder the road to recovery can be. Please do not think that he will get better on his own, time is of the essence right now to have any type recovery.
